PH.D., CPA (AUST.) Assistant Professor of Accounting Education | Researcher | International Speaker Dr. Sandy Arief is an accomplished academic and researcher in accounting education and corporate governance, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Indonesia. He earned his Ph.D. in Accounting and Corporate Governance from Macquarie University, Australia, with a thesis that explored organisational culture, leadership, and innovation, which was accepted without corrections. Actively involved in international research collaborations, Dr. Arief has secured numerous research grants and co-authored high-impact publications on digital transformation, AI ethics, sustainability, and corporate governance. He is also a Certified Sustainable Business Coach (Korea) and sits on expert and advisory panels, including Harvard Business Review, DFAT Australia, and ASEAN’s Teacher Education Quality Agency. He has presented at global conferences in Australia, the UK, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Turkey, and serves as a visiting professor at top institutions like National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (Taiwan). Dr. Arief is also a contributor to prominent journals, a guest editor with Pacific Accounting Review, and a reviewer for Scopus-indexed journals such as Information Technology & People. Beyond academia, he is a passionate mentor, host of the "In Conversation" talk series, and a strong advocate for transforming accounting education through innovation, technology, and global engagement.DR.
